Southwest get back in the win column with victory over Wild Gold

Southwest would get first period goals from Shane Elder and Jack Swaenepoal to take a 2 to 1 lead after 20 minutes.  Zach Mestdagh replied for the Wild.

After a scoreless second period Kole Beard would extend the Southwest lead to 3 to 1 when he opened the third period scoring.  The game remained 3 to 1 until Shane Elder scored his second of the game in the last minute of the period to make the final Southwest 4 Wild 1.

Bruins Brown add another 2 points with win over Wild Gold

Alexandre Andre opened the first period scoring to give the Bruins a 1 to 0 lead.  Carter Haney would extend the lead to 2 to 0 when he scored a shorthanded goal.  Tegan Kurtz would get the Wild on the board scoring on the powerplay.  

The second period would see the Bruins extend their lead to 5 to 1 on goals from Aidan Sitarz, Triton Joudrey and Ludovic Perreault.

Alexandre Andre and Ludovic Perreault would each score their second of the game in the third period to make the final Bruins 7 Wild 1.

Bruins Brown extends win streak to 6 games

Carter Haney opened the scoring to give the Bruins a 1 to 0 lead.  However with just under 3 minutes left in the period Quinten Fisk scored to tie the game at 1 and then Ryzlie Nepinak scored on the powerplay to give Parkland a 2 to 1 lead after 20 minutes.

Joshua Yakielashek would extend Parkland's lead to 3 to1 when he opened the second period scoring.  Carter Haney would get the Bruins back to within 1 when he scored a shorthanded goal for his second of the game and then tie it with his third.  Mason Chubey would score to put the Bruins up by a goal heading into the third period.

Cash McCallum would score for Parkland to tie the game at 4.  With time running out in the period Triton Joudrey scored to put the Bruins up 5 to 4.  Parkland pulled their goalie for the last 20 second but could not get the equalizer giving the Bruins their 22 victory of the year.

Bruins Brown add another W to the win column

The Bruins would take a 3 to 2 lead after 20 minutes on goals by Mason Chubey, Luka Fay and Carter Haney.  Dylan Prettie and Brady Dow replied for the Wild.

The Bruins would increase their lead to 6 to 2 after 2 periods on goals from Ludovic Perreault, Alexandre Andre and Triton Joudrey.

The third period would see Cody Farrell would score twice to get the Wild to within 2 goals however that is as close as they would get making the final Bruins Brown 6 Wild Red 4.

Bruins Gold win 5th straight

Bruins Gold 4 Southwest 3 - OT

January 28 2022 - Winnipeg MB

Tyden Lafournaise opened the first period scoring to give the Bruins a 1 to 0 lead.  Just over a minute later Shane Elder would score to tie the game and send the teams into the second period tied at 1.

The second period would remain scoreless until Gavin Wickham scored with just over a minute left in the period to give Southwest their first lead of the game.  Shane Elder would add to the lead when he scored 1 minute later allowing Southwest to take a 3 to 1 lead into the third.

the third period would see Tyden Lafournaise score his second of the game to bet the Bruins to within 1 goal and Jonathan Blais would get the equalizer with 47 second left in the period to send the teams to Overtime.

Gavin Quenelle would secure the win for the Bruins when he scored with winner with just under 2 minutes left in the period.
