Wild Gold picks up third straight victory

Mason Bernier opened the first period scoring to give Interlake a 1 to 0 lead. The Wild would get even when Connor Allison scored on the powerplay and then take the lead on a goal by Carter Polanski. The Wild would take the 1 goal lead into the second period.

Interlake's Ryder Kirk would open the second period scoring to tie the game at 2. However the Wild would get the lead back 31 seconds later when Max George scored. The Wild would hold on to the one goal lead heading into the thrid.

Knox Burton would extend the Wild lead to 2 goals when he scored 9 seconds into the third period. Zach Mestdagh would add on to the Wild lead when he scored with just under 10 minutes left in the game. With no further scoring the Wild would get the 2 points with the 5 to 2 victory.

Brandon brings home U15 A-Side championship with 6 to 3 victory

The first period would see each team score twice with Hudson Champagne and Reid Nicol scoring for Brandon and Ethan Brown and William Picklyk responded for Eastman.

The second period would see Brandon take a 5 to 2 lead on goals from Hunter Ethelston, Owen Stanley and Reid Nicol (2nd of the game.

Kevin Knee would extend the Brandon lead to 4 when he opened the third period scoring. Deegan would score the last goal of the game to get Eastman to within 3 however, that would be as close as they would get.

With the win Brandon sweeps the best of seven championship final 4 games to 0.

Noah Alexander scores 3, Wild Red win game 5.

Wild Red 7 Yellowhead 3 - Wild Red wins finals 3 games to 2

The first period would see Noah Alexander and Mark Munday score for the Wild, while Davian Ferland and Grady McNish replied for Yellowhead to send the teams into the second period tied at 2.

Noah Alexander score his second of the game to give the Wild a 3 to 2 lead after 40 minutes of play.

In the third Noah Alexander would score his third of the game while Mark Munday and Will Van Norman would each score their second to give the Wild a 7 to 3 victory to win the B Side finals 3 games to 2. Athens Shingoose scored the lone goal for Yellowhead.

The Hockey Winnipeg AAA/AA Council is accepting coaching applications for the 2024-2025 season. The positions are for "AAA" teams in the U15 and U17 Prep and U18 Provincial leagues as well as the "AA" U13, U15 and U18 leagues. As well as being part of an outstanding hockey program, all of our AAA and AA coaches receive a generous Year End Honorarium, a semi-annual Travel Allowance, a AAA/AA Team Wear Allowance and full reimbursement of fees for required Coaching Qualification Courses and Seminars taken while coaching in the AAA/AA programs.
