First period goals by Colton Worthington, Kaeson Fisher, Loughlan McMullan and Jaxpn Jacobson gave Brandon a 4 to 2 lead after one period. Rohan Guevarra and Drake Vermeulen scored for the Thrashers.
Ben Brambilla would score an early second period powerplay goal to cut the lead to 4 to 3. Colton Worthington would score his second of the game and give Brandon a 5 to 3 lead heading into the third.
Loughlan McMullan and Jaxon Jacobson would each score their second of the game to give Brandon the 7 to 3 victory.
