Hockey Winnipeg, AAA Council, is seeking a detail oriented individual to full the position of Equipment Manager and Purchasing Agent for our fifteen (15) team organization.

Hockey Winnipeg, AAA Council, is seeking a detail oriented individual to full the position of Equipment Manager and Purchasing Agent for our fifteen (15) team organization.

This position holds a seat on the AAA Council that is the Hockey Winnipeg Group responsible for the AAA 13 year old to 17 year old teams based in Winnipeg.  Our teams also participate in the Manitoba AAA Bantam League, the AAA Provincial 15 and 16 Midget League.

Duties of the position consist of the following:

  • Working in conjunction with and under the leadership of the AAA Council
  • Attending monthly AAA Council meetings
  • Coordinate AAA Council members and AAA Coaching Staff clothing orders
  • Working with the designated suppliers of the AAA Council
  • Creating and submitting the Annual AAA Jersey and equipment orders
  • Verifying the Jersey order on receipt, preparing jerseys for puck up
  • Maintaining the AAA Council's storage facility
  • Maintaining and distributing Try Out jerseys, refreshing and arranging for repair and replacements as needed
  • Supervising the return of Try Out jerseys once the Try Out process has been completed
  • Scheduling pick up days and times for teams to receive their equipment for the Try Out process and Annual Schedule
  • Refreshing team Medical bags as required annually
  • Supervising the return of team game jerseys and sweater bags at the conclusion of each season
  • Sanitizing sweater bags and jerseys at the end of the season as required
  • Honorarium to be determined
