Cole Dupuis OT winner gives Brandon the victory

The first period would see the Wild take a 2 to 0 lead on goal from Cody Farrell and Hudson Kowalchuk. Cole Dupuis would Brandon on the board and they went into the second period trailing by a goal.

Cole Dupuis would score his second goal of the game, in the second period to send the teams into the third tied at 2.

Johan Lemoine would give Brandon their first lead of the game when he scored 52 seconds into the third. Wyatt Dyck would score the equalizer and the teams were headed to overtime tied at 3.

Cole Dupuis would complete his hattrick with the overtime winner to give Brandon the 4 to 3 victory.

Despite the win Brandon still trails the best of seven series 2 games to 1.

Pembina Valley moves on to finals with game 5 victory

March 13 2023 - Hartney MB

Corby Stemkowski gave Pembina Valley a 1 to 0 lead when he scored 30 seconds into the first period. Casey Magarrell would extend the lead to 2 - 0 when he scores with 9 seconds left in the period.

Cohen Lewko would extend the Pembina Valley lead to 3 to 0 when he opened the second period scoring. Jack Swaenepoel would get Southwest on the board to make the score Pembina Valley 3 Southwest 1 heading into the third period.

There would be no scoring in the third period allowing Pembina Valley to hold on to their 3 to 1 lead and give them the game 5 victory.

With the win Pembina Valley heads to the finals where they will face Eastman.

Carter Kingerski's OT winner gives Wild Red 2 to 0 series lead.

Wild Red 4 Brandon 3 - OT

March 11 2023 - Brandon MB

Hudson Kowalchuk would open the first period scoring to give the Wild a 1 to 0 lead. Brandon's Cole Dupuis would tie the game with just under 2 minutes left in the period however Carter Kingerski would score with 11 second left and send the Wild to second period leading 2 to 1.

With time winding down in the second period Jaxson Brick scored for Brandon to tie the score at 2 heading into the third.

Kingerski would score his second of the game to give the Wild a 3 to 2 lead however it was short lived as just over a minute later Cole Dupuis (2nd of the game) would tie the score at 3. With no further scoring the teams were headed to overtime.

Overtime would see Carter Kingerski complete his hattrick to give the Wild a 4 to 3 victory and a 2 games to 0 series lead.

Southwest forces game 5

Southwest 5 Pembina Valley 3

March 12 2023 - Hartney MB

Spencer Cullen, Shane Elder and Kole Beard scored in the last 3 minutes of the first period to give Southwest a 3 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

Pembina Valley would get the 3 goals back in the second period on 2 goals from Cohen Lewko and a single by Tegan Fehr. However Southwest would regain the lead on a last minute goal by Slater Anderson to give them a 4 to 3 lead into the third period.

Kole Beard would score his second of the game in the third period to finish the scoring and make the final Southwest 5 Pembina Valley 3.

With the victory Southwest forces game 5 which will be played on Monday March 13 7pm in Hartney.

Eastman advances to B Side finals with game 4 victory

Game 4 would see Eastman get a first period goal by Kylan Olson and two second period goals by Grayson Slaney and Seth Hooper to defeat the Wild Gold 3 to 0.
