Pembina Valley moves on to finals with game 5 victory

Pembina Valley 3 Southwest 1

March 13 2023 - Hartney MB

Corby Stemkowski gave Pembina Valley a 1 to 0 lead when he scored 30 seconds into the first period.  Casey Magarrell would extend the lead to 2 - 0 when he scores with 9 seconds left in the period.

Cohen Lewko would extend the Pembina Valley lead to 3 to 0 when he opened the second period scoring.  Jack Swaenepoel would get Southwest on the board to make the score Pembina Valley 3 Southwest 1 heading into the third period.

There would be no scoring in the third period allowing Pembina Valley to hold on to their 3 to 1 lead and give them the game 5 victory.

With the win Pembina Valley heads to the finals where they will face Eastman.

Eastman 12 Bruins Brown 1

November 15 2023 - Winnipeg MB

William Picklyk score 7 times and Asher Gingras added a pair to lead Eastman to a 12 to 1 victory over the Bruins.

Seth Hooper, Crosby Mateychuk and Jax Huberdeau rounded out the scoring for Eastman while Ebenezer Shaganya scored the loan Bruins goal.

 

Bruins Gold 8 Pembina Valley 4

November 15 2023 - Winnipeg MB

The Bruins would get first period goals from Joel Vermette and Tyden Lafournaise to take a 2 to 1 lead after 20 minutes of play.  Nolan Bravo replied for Pembina Valley.

The second period would see the Bruins out score Pembina Valley 4 to 3 to take a 6 to 4 lead into the third period.  Joel Vermette and Tyden Lafournaise would each score their second of the game while Aiden Sitarz and Crewe Chimnowski added singles for the Bruins.  Tyson Pethybridge, Logan Delichte and Easton Hutton scored for Pembina Valley.

The third period would see Joel Vermette complete the hattrick and Aaiden Sitarz score his second of the game to make the final Bruins Gold 8 Pembina Valley 4.

Cashton Barron scores twice in Central Plains Victory

Central Plains 4 Wild Red 1

November 15 2023 - Winnipeg MB

Cashton Barron would give Central Plains a 1 to 0 lead when he scored the only goal of the first period.

Tyler Thouas would extend the Central Plains lead to 2 to 0 after 40 minutes when he scored just over 7 minutes into the period.

Cashton Barron would score his second of the game, in the third, to extend the Central Plains lead to 3 to 0.  Noah Alexander would get the Wild on the board to cut the lead to 3 to 1.  However that would be as close as they would get as Troy Northrup would score into an empty net making the final Central Plains 4 Wild Red 1.

Central Plains scores 5 unanswered goals to record the win.

Central Plains 5 Wild Red 2

November 12 2023 - Portage La Prairie MB

Noah Alexander scored the only goal of the first period to give the Wild a 1 to 0 lead heading into the second period.

Garrnett Vande Graaf would extend the Wild lead to 2 to 0 when he scored the first goal of the second period.  Troy Northrup, Lane Gates and Markus Knaub would score the next 3 goals to give Central Plains a 3 to 2 lead heading into the final period.

Tyler Thouas and Troy Northrup (2nd of the game) would add third period goals to make the final Central Plains 5 Wild Red 2.
