Eastman takes 2 to 1 series lead with game 3 victory

Asher Gingras would open the first period scoring to give Eastman a 1 to 0 lead. Tegan Kurtz would get the Wild even when he score a power play goal to send the teams into the second tied at 1.

Lucas Laramee would score the lone goal of the second period to give Eastman a 2 to 1 lead after 40 minutes.

Jimmy Wilcox would extend the Eastman lead to 3 to 1 when he opened the third period scoring.  Kaden Sutherland would get the Wild back to within a goal however they were not able to get the equalizer and game Eastman the 3 to 2 victory.

With the win Eastman takes a 2 to 1 series lead.

Southwest ties series at 1 on Kole Beard's OT winner

Pembina Valley would get a first period goal from Nathan Froebe to take a 1 to 0 lead into the second period.

After a scoreless second period the teams would combine for 5 goals resulting in teams ending the period tied at 3.  Scoring for Southwest was Eric Berger, Slater Anderson and Shane Elder while Cole Secord and Nathan Froebe (Second of the game) replied for Pembina Valley.

It took only 20 second for Kole Beard to score the winner for Southwest and tie the series at 1 game apiece.

 

Wild Gold even series at 1

March 5 2023 - Steinbach MB

The Wild would would get 2 goals from Tegan Kurtz and singles by Carter Polanski and Max George to give them a 4 to 0 game 2 victory.  Nolan Giles would stop all 38 shots he faced to record his first shutout of the playoffs.

With the victory the Wild tie the best of 5 series at 1 game apiece.

 

Three goal 3rd give Wild Red game 1 victory

March 8 2023 - Brandon MB

Dylan Prettie would score the loan goal of the first period to give the Wild a 1 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

Brandon would flex their offence in the second period as Cole Dupuis, Jaxson Birk and Nolan Saunderson scored to give them a 3 to 1 lead heading into the third period.

The third period would see Cody Farrell score twice, and Declan Siwicki added a single and Dylan McFadyen turned aside all 10 shots he faced to give the Wild a come from behind 4 to 3 victory.
