Wild Red advance to finals with game 3 victory

Wyatt Dyck scored twice in the first period to give the Wild a 2 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

After a scoreless second period the Wild would put the game out of reach in the third on goals from Carter Kingerski, Cody Farrell and Hudson Kowalchuk. 

Dylan McFadyen stopped all 43 shots he faced for his second shutout of the series.

Brandon advances to finals with game 3 victory

March 4 2023 - Shoal Lake MB

Cole Dupuis would score the loan goal of the first period to give Brandon a 1 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

The teams would trade second period goals with Cole Dupuis scoring his second of the game for Brandon and Cole Hunter replying for Yellowhead.  Brandon would carry their 1 goal lead into the third period.

Brandon would carry the 1 goal lead into the final minutes of the third when Jonah Lemoine and Drew Young scored to make the final Brandon 4 Yellowhead 1.

With the win Brandon moves on to the finals where they will face the Wild Red.

 

Three goal 3rd give Eastman game 1 victory

March 4 2023 - Steinbach MB

After a scoreless first period the Wild would get on the board just seconds into to the second period on a goal by Max George.  With no further scoring in the period the Wild would take the 1 to 0 lead into the third period.

Grayson Slaney would score 33 seconds into the third to tie the game at 1 and then give them the lead on his second of the period.  Asher Gingras would add one more to make the final Eastman 3 Wild Gold 1.

With the win Eastman takes a 1 to 0 series lead.

Brandon moves 1 win away from finals with game 2 victory

March 2 2023 - Brandon MB

Cole Lobreau opened the first period scoring to give Brandon a 1 to 0 lead.  Yellowhead's Adam Chipelski scored to tie the game at 1.  However Brandon would regain the lead when Ethan Stanley found the back of the net.

After a scoreless second period Hudson Champagne scored on the powerplay to increase the Brandon lead to 3 to 1.  Myles Beatty would get Yellowhead back to within 1 however that would be as close as they would get.

With the 3 to 2 victory Brandon takes a 2 to 0 series lead and moves 1 game away from the finals.
