Wild Green make it 5 in a row with win over Bruins Gold

Wild Green 3 Bruins Gold 1

December 13 2022 - Winnipeg MB

After a scoreless first period the Bruins would get on the board first on a goal by Gavin Quennelle.  The Wild would tie the game when Julian Fedora scored.  With no further score the teams headed into the third tied at 1.

Luca Pura would give the Wild their first lead and Noah Madison would make it 3 to 1.  Neither team was able to find the back of the net making the 3 to 1 lead hold up and give the Wild their 5th straight victory.

Cougars overcome early deficit to earn 2 points

December 11 2022 - Winnipeg MB

The Wild would jump out to a 3 to 1 lead after 20 minutes on 2 goals by Zach Mestdagh and as single from Carter Polanski.  Spencer Cullen responded for Southwest.

The Cougars would draw even with to second period goals from Jack Swaenepoel and Sepencer Cullen's second of the game.

The third period would see Swaenepoel score his second of the game to give Southwest their first lead and Tucker Forbes added an insurance marker to make the final Southwest 5 Wild Gold 3.

Yellowhead pulls into second place tie with win over Eastman

December 11 2022 - Shoal Lake MB

Nolan Kozak scored the loan goal of the first period to give Yellowhead a 1 to 0 lead heading into the second period.

The teams would trade goals in the second period with Adam Chipelski scoring on the power play to extend Yellowhead's lead to 2 to 0 while Jimmy Wilcox replying for Eastman.

The third period remained scoreless until Alec Strachan scored into the empty net to give Yellowhead the 3 to 1 victory.

Wild Green wins 10th game of year

December 10 2022 - Winnipeg MB

Jack Ross opened the scoring to give the Wild a 1 to 0 lead and Luca Pura extended it to 2 scoring on the power play in the last minute of the period.

The teams would trade second period goals with Brayden Budolowski scoring for Eastman while Julian Fedora replied for the Wild scoring a shorthanded goal.

The third period would remain scoreless until Ethan Saari scored with 3 second left to make the final Wild Green 4 Parkland 1.

Bruins Black 5 Wild Gold 3

December 10 2022 - Winnipeg MB

The Bruins would grab a 1 to 0 first period lead when Drayden Uhrina score just over two minutes into the period.  Knox Burton would get the Wild even and send the teams into the second tied at 1.

The second period would see the Bruins would regain the lead when Karsten Woloshen scored however the Wild would again draw even when Ryan Strilchuk scored on the power play.  The teams would head into the third tied at 2.

Antonio Correia would score twice in the third to give the Bruins a 4 to 2 lead.  With the Wild on the power play Kegan Kurtz would score to cut the lead to 1.  The Wild pulled their goaltender to try to get the equalizer however Kingston Gunn would score into the empty net to make the final Bruins Black 5 Wild Gold 3.
