Winnipeg AAA Hockey Council is recruiting team trainers

Winnipeg AAA Hockey Council is recruiting team trainers for the upcoming hockey season. These are volunteer positions and an honorarium will be provided.  If Interested, please contact Kelsey McCuspey, Director, Athlete Safety, at kmccuspey@hotmail.com.

Thrashers White run win streak to 4 games.

Bradley Janzen scored on the powerplay to give Wild Gold an early 1 to 0 lead.  Nicholas Edbom would get the the Thashers even when he scored 22 second later and Peabh Bhathal would give them a 2 to 1 lead heading into the second period.

The second period would remain scoreless until the final second when Alden Carty scored to give the Thrashers a 3 to 1 lead after 40 minutes.

Bradley Janzen would score his second of the game to get the Wild to within 1 goal.  However Prabh Bhathal would score his second of the game 

Interlake ends loosing streak with win over Pembina Valley

Each team would score once in the first period to send the game into the second tied at 1.  Carson Kirk scored for Interlake and Cole Secord responded for Pembina Valley.

Carson Kirk would score his second of the game and Tavyn Sigurdson would add a single to give Interlake a 3 to 2 lead after 40 minutes.  Jaxson Fury scored the loan Pembina Valley goal.

The third period would see Justin Campbell extend the Interlake lead to 4 to 2.  Kai Hildebrand would get Pembina Valley to within 1 goal however that would be as close as they would get making the final Interlake 4 Pembina Valley 3.

Yellowhead opens December with win over Bruins Black

Grady McNish and Aiden McGorman would score first period goals to give Yellowhead a 2 to 1 lead heading into the second period.  Jaxon Dean was the goal scorer for the Bruins.

The second period would see Yellowhead out score the Bruins 3 to 1 to take a 5 to 2 lead after 40 minutes.  Antonio Correia scored for the Bruins while Yelowhead would get 2 goals from Athens Shingoose and a single from Colton Rapley.

The Bruins would pull to within 1 on goals by Calum Brownlee and Will Owens. Destin Knight would reply for Yellowhead to put them up by a score of 6 to 4.  Antonio Correia would score his second of the game with 28 second left making the final Yellowhead 6 Bruins Black 5.
