Pembina Valley wins second straight

Regan Froese and Rhett Peters scored first period goals to give Pembina Valley a 2 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

Yellowheads Colby Asselstine would score the only goal of the second to cut the Pembina Valley lead to 2 to 1 heading into the third period.

The teams would trade goals in the third with Ryder Wolfe scoring for Pembina Valley and Addison McIntosh replying for Yellowhead to make the final Pembina Valley 3 Yellowhead 2.

Brandon runs win streak to 11.

Brandon 4 Bruins Brown 3

The first period would see Mason Chubey score for the Bruins and Kevin Knee would reply for Brandon to send the game into the second period tied at 1.

Kevin Knee would score his second of the game and Owen Stanley would add a single to give Brandon a 3 to 1 lead after 40 minutes of play.

The Bruins would even the score, in the third period, on Mason Chubey's second of the game and Ludovic Perraults first.  However with just over 1 minute left in the game Kevin Knee would score his third goal of the game to secure a 4 to 3 victory for Brandon.

Bruins Black run win streak to 6.

Bruins Black 7 Yellowhead 1

January 5 2024 - Shoal Lake MB

The Bruins received two first period goals from Antonio Correia and singles from Chace Gregg and Chace Brown to take a 4 to 1 lead into the second period.  Bryce Gambler scored the loan goal for Yellowhead.

Antonio Correia completed the hattrick in the second period and Owen Murray added a single to extend the Bruins lead to 6 to 1 after 40 minutes of play.

Chace Gregg would score his second of the game to finish the scoring to make the final Bruins Black 7 Yellowhead 1.

Sawyer Henkelman stopped all 17 shots he faced to record his first shutout of the season.

5 goal second period gives Wild Gold the win.

Wild Gold 6 Parkland 1

January 5 2023 - Ste Rose MB

After a scoreless first period the Wild would explode for 5 goals to take a 5 to 1 lead after 40 minutes of play.  Sam Grunewald, Nolan Rafferty, Michael Mikulyak, Noah Bonds and Cristian Vieira scored for the Wild and Noah Hanneson replied for Parkland.

The Wild's Asher Ferguson would score the loan goal of the third period to make the final Wild Gold 6 Parkland 1.

 

Brandon wins third in a row.

Brandon 4 Thrashers Blue 3

October 6 2023 - Winnipeg MB

Brandon would get first period goals from Ty Aldcroft and Kevin Knee to take a 2 to 0 lead after 20 minutes.

Easten Turko would extend the Brandon lead to 3 to 0 when he opened the second period scoring.  Sam Lazaruk would get the Thrashers on the board to cut the lead to 3 to 1. Crew Elder would score to restore the Brandon lead to 4 to 1 heading into the third.

Dixon Hartwich would score twice in the third period to get the Thrashers to within 1 however they could not score the equalizer making the final Brandon 4 Thrashers Blue 3.
