Brandon wins 16 straight game

Brandon's Cole Temple scored 4 goals and Roan Michalchuk added 3 more to help Brandon to a 13 to 1 victory over Interlake.

Other scores for Brandon were Easton Odut and Brady Turko who each had 2 goals, and 1 each from Jaxon Jacobson and Dustin Bell.

Interlake goal was scored by Evan Deprez.

Brandon 9 Wild Gold 6

December 18 2021 - Winnipeg MB

Brandon took a 4 to 2 lead after the first period on goals from Brady Turko, Tate Bercier, Colton Worthington and Jaxon Jacobson.  Jonah Vanderhorst and Oliver Chenier scored for the Wild.

Brandon would continue to lead be a goal after 40 minutes despite being out scored 3 to 2.  Gino Cotroneo scored twice and Oliver Chenier scored his second of the game to account for the Wild goals.  Brady Turko scored his second and Cole Temple added one for the Brandon goals.

Brandon would put the game away on goals from Easton Odut, Cole Temple's second of the game and Colton Worthington who also got his second.  Mason Munday scored in the final seconds for the game to make the final Brandon 9 Wild 6

Four goal third gives Central Plains the victory

December 18 2021 - Dauphin MB

Central Plains Koy Funk scored the only goal of the first period to give his team the lead going into the second.

Parkland would get a goal from Trace Langan to tie the game and another from Cade Legaarden to give them a 2 to 1 lead going into the third.

Daxon Yerex would pull Central Plains even and Koy Funk scored his second of the game to put them ahead 3 to 2.  Carson Legault extended the lead to 4 to 2 however Central Plains would not give up as Ryan Gower scored to make it 4 to 3.

Central Plains would press for the equalizer however Carson Legault put the game out of reach with an empty net goal.  Final Score Central Plains 5 Parkland 3.

Yellowhead tops Interlake

Yellowhead 7 Interlake 3

December 18 2021 - Shoal Lake MB

Yellowhead took a 3 to 0 lead in the first on goals from Riley Swereda, Colby Asselstine and Zachary Lamb.  Noah Oughton would get Interlake on the board scoring a powerplay goal in the last 5 seconds of the period.

Adam Chipelski would regain the 3 goal lead for Yellowhead, scoring a powerplay goal 11 minutes into the second period.  Talon Hogg and Ryder Kirk would pull Interlake to within one (4 to 3) heading into the third period.

Brad Brandon would score twice in the third and Kaden Allan would a single to make the final Yellowhead 7 Interlake 3.


Wild Green wins 3rd in row

Wild Green 7 Southwest 4

December 18 2021 - Souris MB

The Wild opened up a 2 to 0 lead after 20 minutes on goals by Drew Russell and Carter Bilous.

The Wild would extend the lead to 3 to 0 on shorthanded goal by Shaye Guarino. Jack Clark would get Southwest on the board and Lynden Gould would follow to cut the lead to 3 to 2. The teams would take turn trading goals with Chase Thoendel scoring for the Wild and Shane Elder replying for Southwest. 

Quinn Parker and Chase Thoendel (2nd of game) would finish the second period scoring giving the Wild a 6 to 3 lead heading into the 3rd.

Jack Clark scored his second of the game to bring Southwest to within 2 goals however that would be as close as they would get.  Cole Warsaba scored and empty net goal to make the final Wild 7 Southwest 4.
