Parkland wins 5th straight

Parkland defeats Bruins Black 5 to 4

November 13 2021 - Winnipeg MB

Tyriece Pattyn and Karsten Woloshen scored the only goals of the first period giving the Bruins a 2 to 0 lead going into the second period.

In the second Parkland would tie the score at 2 on goals from Ethan Carnegie and Ryan Gower.  They would then take a 2 goal lead into the third on goals from Luke Myhre and Hayden Shtykalo.

Shea Rollason and Tyriece Pattyn scored goals 7 seconds apart to tie the game at 4. 

The game stayed tied until Isaac Tomchak scored the game winner at 8:54.

The following November 17 2021 games are cancelled due to weather.

Central Plains at Bruins Black 7:30pm at Notre Dame

Bruins Gold at Interlake 7:00pm at Stonewall

Two goal third period leads Interlake to victory

Interlake 6 Central Plains 5

November 14 2021 - Portage La Prairie MB

Central Plains would open up a 2 to 0 first period lead on goals from Kirby Vince and Carson Legault.  Despite being down 2 to 0 Interlake would head into the second with a 3 to 2 lead on goals from Noah Oughton, Talon Hogg and Blake Farrington.

Cam Sarna scored 2 goals and Carson Legault scored his second of the game in a 2 minute span to give Central Plains a 5 to 3 lead. With just under 4 minutes left in the second Interlake would cut the lead to 1 when Blake Farrington scored his second of the game.

The third period would see Dainen Jacobson tie the game and Cole Swanson score the winner for Interlake to make the final Interlake 5 Central Plains 4.


U15 Wild Green Hosts Hockey Fights Cancer Game

On November 10th, 2021 the U15 Wild Green hosted their own Hockey Fights Cancer game at the BellMTS IcePlex.

Bruins Brown win in Overtime

Bruins Brown 5 Browns Gold 4 OT

Bruins Gold jumped out to a 2 to 0 lead after 20 minutes on goals from Cole Frykas and Ryan Tuck.

Goals from Jett Lajoie and Ewan Reyes would erase the deficit and Lajoie's second of the period would give the Bruins Brown a 3 to lead going into the third.

Max Hamelin would tie the game at 3 and then scored another to put the Gold back in front.  However the lead would not last as Carter Haney scored the equalizer to send the game into overtime.

After Haney tied the game he would score the winner on the powerplay 36 seconds into the extra frame.
